Mr Achal Khanna
Achal Khanna is a Consultant General, Laparoscopic and Benign Upper GI Surgeon, based at the Milton Keynes University Hospital, The Saxon Clinic, Milton Keynes and Blakelands Hospital, Milton Keynes. Mr Khanna undertook his Higher Specialist Training in General and Oesophagogastric Surgery (Upper GI) at The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
He has also trained in Adelaide under the tutelage of Professor Rob Fitridge and Professor Guy Maddern, both leading world experts in their fields. Mr. Khanna’ s particular areas of interest and expertise are in the surgical management of all aspects of General Surgery with a particular focus on Gall Bladder surgery (Cholecystectomy), all aspects of hernia surgery, reflux disease and anti-reflux surgery.
He is an expert at Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, open General Surgery and Upper GI endoscopy (gastroscopy).
